My goal is to ensure that your ceremony reflects your values and beliefs and is completely unique to you. My style is warm, relaxed, tender but fun.

I can suggest ways to include members of the family in the celebrations and symbolic rituals such as tree planting or sand ceremonies to make your day extra special.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1

No obligation chat

I offer a free, no obligation chat via Zoom, WhatsApp or phone to help you decide whether I am the celebrant for you. This also gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have.

Step 2

Planning meeting

If you decide to go ahead, we will set up a meeting to discuss the type of ceremony you want. This can be face to face at a venue of your choice or online if time is an issue. I can provide advice on readings, poems and symbolic rituals.

Step 3

Personal questionnaire

I will send you a questionnaire that helps me to create a ceremony tailor made for you and your child. It will ask questions like how you decided on the name and what are your hopes and dreams for your child.

Step 4

Crafting the ceremony

Using the information from our meetings and questionnaires I will craft a ceremony script and share this with you. There are no limits to the changes you can make. I am not satisfied until you are 100% satisfied.

Step 5

Officiating the ceremony

On the day I will lead the ceremony, making sure everything runs smoothly so you can just enjoy the occasion. I will provide a calm and professional presence.

Prices start at £300

This includes all meetings, unlimited emails, text and WhatsApp contact throughout the process, crafting the ceremony script and unlimited edits, officiating the ceremony on the day, travel expenses within Cheshire, Merseyside or Staffordshire

Additional Costs:

Travel expenses outside Cheshire, Merseyside or Staffordshire are charged at 45p per mile.
Additional expenses at request of couple e.g. specific costume charged at cost price.

On the run-up to the day she asked really pertinent questions and produced a draft service order for us to review - nothing was too much trouble and after a few minor amends (very few needed, as the 1st draft was excellent!) we had a meaningful, commemorative and personalised Ceremony planned.

On the day itself, Jo arrived early and was on-hand for any final questions/concerns before the Ceremony started. During the Ceremony Jo spoke with conviction and credibility, in a way that conveyed the key messages to our friends/family but also left room for a bit of fun and laughter (as we wanted during the event). She put all of the speakers at ease and coped effortlessly with the technical difficulties that occurred (which were not her fault!) plus the abundance of children causing distractions, which she was totally unfazed by.
